Research shows that people who have a strong sense of purpose in life live a longer, happier life. This week we will take time to reflect and take actions on our life purpose.
If you are still keeping up with the Gratitude Photo Project, keep it going! If you aren’t still doing it feel free to pick it

Day 29
How to know your life purpose in 5 minutes - by Adam Leipzig
Action Step:
Watch the video on purpose.
Action Step:
Write down your answers to the questions in the video.
Who are you?
What do you do?
Who do you do it for?
What do those people want and need from you?
What do those people get out of what you do for them?
How do they change as a result of what you do for them?
Day 30-35
Action Step:
Outward facing.
Serving others is a critical component of finding purpose and achieving happiness. Over the next 6 days challenge yourself to serve others. Pick an activity each day to complete.
Volunteer. Team Depot is a great place for volunteer activities. You can talk to your local manager on ways to get involved. https://corporate.homedepot.com/community.
Help a neighbor. Take a neighbor some warm cookies, cool lemonade or offer to help them out by mowing their lawn. A simple act can go a long way to make a difference in someone’s day.
Beautify the community. Spend some time sprucing up the community, collect litter strewn on curbsides, plant some flowers in the park, or throw a fresh coat of paint on fences.
Visit a nursing home. Stop by and say hello to an elder.
Hold the door open for others. Not only does holding open a door say“I notice you,” but it also says “I care enough to stop what I am doing to help.”
Donate gently used items to charity. What a great way to accomplish two things at once, clean out the closet and give items to those in need.
Organize an event. Whether it’s organizing a local book drive for children in the hospital or collecting cans of food for the local food pantry, there’s always a need that’s waiting to be filled.
Pay someone a compliment. Nothing can turn someone’s day around like a compliment. A compliment is a great way to say “I recognized something really good about you…”
