EASY SMOOTHIES
A natural energy booster that will quench
in-between meal hunger or just add some
Vitamin C and protein to your diet.
Serves: 2
Serving Size: 12 oz
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Inactive: 2 minutes
Cook: 2 minutes
TOTAL: 6 minutes
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Dannon Oikos 0% greek vanilla yogurt
• 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
• 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
• 1 banana
• 3/4 cup orange juice
Instructions:
Add the yogurt, mango and pineapple to blender. Add banana for natural sweetening. Pour in a little
of the orange juice then blend on ice crush setting. Add more orange juice until smoothie blends
freely and smoothly. Pour and enjoy this frozen treat.
This recipe is very versatile. If not up to a citrus version, you may substitute other frozen fruit
like raspberries (high fiber option), blueberries, strawberries, etc. I highly recommend that if you make
this adjustment, use milk in place of the orange juice for a creamier flavor. You may also substitute
1 tablespoon of honey for the banana to naturally sweeten depending on taste and ingredients on hand.
